Your "other side" Dream Ticket
I posted something similar to Kos.
In short, who is the least worst on the other side of the aisle. If a liberal/Democrat leaner, post your favorite Republican ticket. If conservative/Republican, your favorite Democratic ticket. If other, give your favorite from both major parties.
Remember, don't vote for who you think would make it easier for your side to win, but for whom you think would be best in the White House.
EDIT: I meant to limit everyone to announced Presidential candidates and possible VPs, but the discussion is going well enough.

Paul/Huckabee, Kucinich/Edwards
I'll probably end up voting Libertarian, but I could probably get behind either Paul/Huckabee or maybe even Paul/Thompson depending on how much of a federalist Thompson really is.
Kucinich/Edwards speaks to the socialist in me. For those who don't know, I'm a self-styled "states' rights liberal". In short, I'm pretty far left, but I'm a strong believer in a limited federal government and increased power for the states.

Huckabee/Gingrich
I think those two guys would acceptable I guess. Although I think Paul's heart is in the right place, his "gut everything" approach to government seems to be just a bit extreme. I'd even be OK with Gingrich in the VP slot. Don't ask me why. maybe he's hiding something, but he does seem pretty smart. Maybe even Guiliani.

Hmmmm
A dream ticket.
Republican: ummm. I feel like whatshisname, of lantern fame -- are there any men of character left in the Republican party? Suggest some, and I may be able to come up with a ticket.
Democrat: Gore / Clinton
Only because she'd make a heck of an arm turner. And this is fantasy anyway.
Nice to see you posting again, stinerman.

my dream teams...
Democrats - Hillary/Warner (Former Gov-VA)
Republicans - Gingrich/Sarah Palin (Gov-Alaska)

Will the very sexy senator yield for a question?
Palin could win the "she's hot; i'll vote for her" vote. I'd be able to get behind a Stephanie Herseth/Sarah Palin ticket. :-)
Kidding aside, I've heard pretty good things about her. Perhaps she'd be willing to run for federal office once Stevens and Young are booted out.

yeah
I had to google her official webpage up to look at her photos after reading your comment. I didn't know what she looked like before I stuck her name in there :)

Well said
You beat me to the reference. I was going to mention it myself, but thought that "GILF" might be lost on some members.

Good question.

For the reps I'd say Thompson/Paul.
For the Dems I'd say Gore/Richardson or Gore/Obama.
That's assuming we are using current day possibilities and not just throwing open the door to anyone.

Dream Tickets
As a Republican, I support Rudy Guiliani. To win Rudy will have to bring along the conservatives in the party. So Guiliani/Duncan Hunter sounds good to me. Although possibly Mitt Romney or Fred Thompson may end up filling the conservative slot. The big issue for the conservatives will be immigration--and Rudy has only recently decided it is a good idea to enforce the immigration laws.
On the Dem side, I actually think HRC is their strongest candidate. While Obama polls stronger than Hillary in the general election, his lack of experience and naive statements on foreign policy would really hurt. The strongest ticket for them is HRC/Wes Clark, because HRC will be accused of being weak against our Islamofascist enemies. So the ex-general may needed. However, if I had to bet, I think Obama will end up as VP canidate.
name the enemy, win the war
My dream tickets.....
D - Bill Richardson/Mike Gravel (I have no idea how this would work in practice, but I think they are the two dem candidates I agree with most. Plus, Gravel has that whole rock thing going for him.)
R - Ron Paul/Fred Thompson (Very easy choice.)
